Subject: Meals on Wheels Seeks Volunteer Drivers
Chathamites! Help your local home-bound senior community members by becoming a Meals on Wheels driver! There are four routes in Pittsboro, three in Siler City, and one each in Bennett,Gulf, and Goldston. If you can’t commit weekly, we are always in need substitutes! Our most pressing needs are in Pittsboro and Siler City.
This would also be a good opportunity to be shared among a church group, allowing members to alternate weeks and share the responsibility of taking their group’s particular route or for driving high school students who need to get their volunteer hours this summer!**
