Subject: The Couple living in the woods . . .
It is really not all that too far from me- That couple living in the woods. And the house- They built it themselves. They had no money, so they just made it out of stuff and things they found around. Not very big, but I guess it suits them. Of course there is no running water. And are you ready for this? She is expecting triplets! I am quite sure that he has a job- or at least a part time one. He is always bringing home food, such as it is.
I know the roof must leak. And I know the winds blow in. But they are so proud- I sometimes hear her singing, as he darts away on whatever errand or bit of business he needs to complete. I don’t dare say anything, for fear of offending. I am so tickled to have a pair of Cardinals nesting so close to my back door.

I’m looking forward to keeping up with what the real Chatham Rabbits remember or are doing. I may live in ORANGE CO. but I can throw a rock to CHATHAM.
