Dear Siglinda Scarpa,
Please don’t be afraid. Your description is of someone building a proper shooting range. IF the line of fire is not toward you and the burn/hill behind the targets is properly constructed, you should be safe from everything but the noise. A great deal will depend on how popular the range becomes.
The builder may be a very nice neighbor and might give you free shooting lessons and introduce you to a whole new aspect of you kind nature. And you most certainly will be a wonderful neighbor to the builder/operator and introduce him/her to the wonderful activities of the Goathouse Refuge and open up a whole new aspect of his/her nature!
