Subject: Goodnight and SAS
Chatham Chatlist #4867 I know people that work at SAS and they are happy and yes they are lucky to work there and yes SAS is based in Cary which scares a lot of Chatham folks. Do we want happy people living and working here in Chatham Co. or do we want unhappy people that are envious that someone has the vision to plan something that is slowly happening to Chatham County anyway. Witness Cary, Durham, and last but not least Chapel Hill encroachment in to Ch. Co. Is that slow encroachment any better than planning for the future now?
As a side note – some of you Ch. folks that are against this might be afraid that your Chapel Hill or Cary address might get changed to Pittsboro. As a “Moncure†resident living less than 2 miles from Pittsboro, I hope my address changes and I don’t have anything against Moncure but progress marches on and I live a lot closer to Pittsboro.
What makes you think we are not happy? Love Chatham County the way it is. Do not want Chatham Park; do not need it.
