Chatham Marketplace opened its doors in May 2006. We are a grocery store and cafe owned entirely by members of the community. We currently have more than 2,200 owners. We are a place where everyone makes a difference. We are located in Pittsboro, in the heart of Chatham County. We sell local fresh produce, local meat and fish, local dairy products, and groceries.
We also sell health and beauty care items. Our cafe serves up pastries and baked goods, breakfast items, coffee, sandwiches, and salad bar items.
We are open seven days a week! Everyone is welcome to shop at Chatham Marketplace, but you can also join other members of our community and become an owner of the co-op.
We support local farmers, local crafts people, local dairy producers, and local members of our community by providing access to the local producers in our community. Stop by the co-op–see all the amazing products we have to offer.
