Subject: Two Northwood players made All-state baseball team

Two players from NCHSAA 2A state finalist Northwood made the NCpreps.com all-state baseball team – Justin King and Robert Straughn.

Straughn had a 15-1 record and an earned run average of 2.28 in 18 pitching appearances while hitting .374. King averaged .427 at the plate with 28 RBI and a slugging percentage of .740.

NCpreps managed to overlook Northwood catcher Andrew Webster who led the team in batting average (.474), RBIs (44) and home runs (6).
