Last Friday night (6/14/13) was one of the best nights  ever at Charlie’s Music Barn. We welcomed people from Fearrington Village and Galloway Ridge as well as many others from the surrounding community.

If you weren’t there, we missed YOU!  We had as our guest, an old friend, Lanelle Davis, who had not been with us for quite a while.   What a beautiful voice! We sincerely hope she will be able to join us again soon.   Don Self (aka George Jones) also joined us on stage to sing a couple of the crowd’s favorites.. Everyone, I mean everyone, musicians and guests alike, had the time of their lives.  We would like to say THANK YOU to one and all.  If you missed that performance,  this Friday night (6/21/13) promises to be another great one.  Our Guest for this week will be Alec Bryan, famous guitar player from Jacksonville, NC.  “Little” David Gilmore will be back from a trip with his family and other talented musicians you won’t want to miss.  ALSO TO PLAN AHEAD, on July 5th, Friday night following Independence Day, we plan a Party Night:  Beginning at 6:00 pm we will have FOOD – a covered dish dinner by our country cooks with Music to follow at 7:00 pm.

Mark your calendars and don’t miss these special events.  We look forward to seeing you all. Thank you, Bruce and Patsy Meacham   Hillside Music Gangand Mrs. LIllie Bouldin

We will have a red sign out by the road showing the way.   Less than a mile up Buckner-Clark Road ,just past the white picket fence, you make a left on Hillside Music Road. Also known as Hillside Music. Keep going from the paved road (past 3 houses on either side), to the gravel road. The Barn is on your left about 1/2 mile down the gravel road.  Parking is in the mowed areas on each side of the road, come in and make yourselves at home.
