Greetings Chatham County! We are so excited about our upcoming Chatham Cottage Auction on CCCC’s Pittsboro Campus.

Join us on June 7, 12:00 noon behind the Sustainable Technology Building as we sell our first student constructed home. The home was built in consultation with house movers to assure ease of transport (no need to move utility lines) and access to the roadways. Thanks to Bob Arble of Brightcut Energy for consulting on our Energy Star construction process.

Check out the link below for specific information about the cottage and of course come on by for a tour. Faculty and staff are here during the week, and we can make evening and weekend appointments for potential buyers.

We owe a big THANKS to Chatham Habitat for Humanity for doing a fantastic staging job, the house is filled with furniture and decorations, all are available for purchase on June 10th.

Thanks also to Lowes Hardware for donating some great plants adding more of homey feel to this sweet cottage.

The auction could not take it place without the volunteer effort of auctioneer Gary Phillips of Weaver Street Realty.

Wishing you all a great summer,

Laura

ps, it’s not too late to register for classes, see our program description at
