For those seeking to be offended by Mayor Voller’s rape comment, please make yourselves familiar with the definitions of the word (please see 4,5,7 and 8). This word does not solely apply to sexual assault.
To plunder and despoil a place? To seize by force? Sounds like a pretty accurate description of current NC politics.
