Subject: Fearrington Goats
Can anyone tell me who is in charge of the care of the belted goats at Fearrington Village?
I sometimes walk my dogs there and enjoy the goats. Yesterday there was a man in a red truck there and he had them enclosed and was picking one of them up by the back leg, then throwing him on the ground and restraining him with his foot. The goat was crying. I walked over and ask what he was doing and he said he takes care of them by himself and was castrating him.
He said he was waiting for some help to arrive.
Another couple also approached him. It was a very disturbing sight. Who is responsible for these goats and how would one contact them to report any suspicious people? Thanks Dee
