It was a dark and stormy night at Chatham Community Library. Dozens of avid mystery readers gathered for refreshments, conversation about their favorite mystery books, and a mystery book swap. Suddenly, the lights in the meeting room went out (no mean feat, considering that they are computer-controlled). Who dunnit?
We invite all lovers of mysteries to a special Mystery Lovers’ Reunion this Wednesday, October 31 at 7 pm to join us in conversation and light refreshments. Bring a mystery to swap. There will be lists of mysteries recommended by local and national celebrities. This program is free and open to the public; registration is suggested. Contact the library at (919) 545-8084.
