Subject: Georgeann Eubanks to speak at Chatham Community Library

Author Georgeann Eubanks will present a program on her latest book, “Literary Trails of the North Carolina Piedmont,” Thursday, May 3 at 7 pm. The presentation will take participants on a tour of sites associated with or explored by authors including Doris Betts, Lee Smith, Reynolds Price, O. Henry, Zora Neale Hurston, Maya Angelou, and more. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
 
A very brief meeting of the Friends of the Chatham Community Library to elect new officers will precede the program; all members of the Friends (and those who would like to join) are encouraged to attend.
