Subject: While others see a battlefield, I see an awesome community resource

I saw in this morning’s chatlist that a Lynn Fass feels that the chatlist is a battlefield.

I guess a positive outlook on life makes a world of difference in how you view our local community chatlist. I see the Chatham Chatlist as one of many ways to “experience the world of Chatham County, NC” It is an awesome community resource.

I looked through this morning’s chatlist and here is what I saw –

*        Pete Jaegar & Ann Jones offer information about wooden toy sources in Chatham County

*        Drew Sediak found two lost cats (are cats ever REALLY lost?)

*        ChathamArts will present an inspirational “Fifth Quarter” movie at Fearrington barn

*        Tom Glendenning provided a source guide for LP gas

*        Linda Cooper finds all the good, bad and ugly teeth gnashing hilarious!!!

*        Someone searching for a contact list of Chatham PTA Thrift Shop board members

*        Lisa Skumpija is looking for a Zydeco band

*        Steve seeks recommendations for local trailer repairs

*        Salon Blue & Spa is helping out Chatham County Toys for Tots

*        Gene provided a link to a video clip of former Northwood student Tobais Palmer scoring a touchdown in the NCSU vs Clemson football game

*        Naboko takes her unique look at Indian Summer in Chatham

*        A listing of this week’s activities at our local Chatham County libraries by Jennifer Gillis

*        Jeff Starkweather acting like a boob (not unusual. Love you Jeffrey)

*        A new small business center for Chatham

*        Family fun at the Siler City Sportsman Lanes Bowling Center

*        CORA Pantry food drive

Dear Lynn and Angela, if you all could please set aside the bitter you may find that life in Chatham County is pretty sweet.
