Subject: IEP workshop with the ECAC at Pittsboro Senior Center

What is an IEP. An individualized, education, plan. If you child had an IFSP, or has any kind of learning disability, etc they will have an IEP. We currently have around 1176 in the county.

What is the cost: FREE. Due to donations paid to Project Proud Families, Inc. we are able to offer this free of charge, a light supper, and childcare to those that register for it only. Their will be crafts, snack provide for the children.

Where: Pittsboro Senior Center on 87N above the new library on the left.

When: September 22nd  5:30pm-8pm.

Why: Our goal is to empower parents before they get into the IEP process so they make good choices for their children, understand what they are entitled to under the law and do not become frustrated by the process.
