Subject: AAA experience
In reference to AAA, I have had AAA since 2003 but never had to call for roadside assistance and was mainly using the AAA discounts for hotels. We had to help move one of our children and used our cleaned out horse trailer. We got a flat tire on the trailer in front of the hose that we were moving the stuff to and called AAA.
The guy came out in about 1 hour and after seeing that it was the horse trailer had to call in to report. They were not going to fix that flat as part of AAA service since the horse trailer is not part of the service plan. but would send out someone with heavier equipment to this-and would require $75 cash . So we waited another hour for the next guy.
The good parts-they asked if I was in a safe place when I first called, both men were very nice.
The bad part-waiting an hour for each of the men, not covering my empty horse trailer in the deal, and having to pay cash for the service.
I did renew my AAA, since I still use it for discounts on hotels, but now I need to find a service that covers horse trailer problems.
