Subject: turkey vulture problem
We recently returned from an extended vacation to find that 2-3 turkey vultures had set up housekeeping on our deck. We are at our wits end trying to figure out what will keep them away. Here’s what we’ve tried so far:
1. the grill which we keep on the deck has been scoured
2. all extra items that they might perceive as food have been relocated
3. the stereo speakers have been wired so they blast music outside all day long
4. we have about 5 citronella candles burning throughout the day
They seem to be lurking nearby waiting for us to leave. Inevitably when we come back they’re peering in our sliding glass door as if they think we’ll eventually invite them in. Does anyone have any other suggestions we might try?
