Subject: Fish Roe
Snce I was a child, I enjoyed eating canned fish eggs – some call it fish roe. I do not mean caviar.
It mostly came in a small squat can much like tuna or cat food. I bought in during the nineteen seventies in grocery stores in this area. But now, it seems never to be on the shelves anymore. When I ask for at stores, no one knows what I am talking about.
Does anyone out there know of a source?
