Subject: Northwood Ladies V Soccer dropped their match to Carrboro March 15
The Chargers dropped their match to Carrboro tonight in Carrboro 2-0. The ladies played extremely well, especially on the defensive end. Sara McCaw was outstanding in the net with 15 saves. Northwood had eleven shots on goal and Carrboro took seventeen. Both of their goals were scored from within the six yard box.
Freshman Hannah Holloway was spectacular from the sweeper position all evening. Everyone played hard and gave it their best effort. The outside mids, Rebecca Moore, Katie McGrath and April Gibbs did extra duty all night and really excelled on the defensive end. The team travels to Barttlet Yancey on Friday evening for their next match then back home Monday with DSA.
