I guess expecting them to look at thier schedules and asking them to realize that they have exams in 10 days is to much? The world has sped up, information travels at light speed to every corner of it. The parents of today have to catch up with the world. It isn't the same place we grew up in! Our kids have to learn that vacation is not always a total break from the grind of life. This plan apears to set our kids up for failure but turn it in to a learning moment. As adults we have deadlines at work and they don't change because of our vacations so sometimes we may have to work a bit on our vacation to keep our job. The reality is that sucks, but it is life no point in complaining and blaming others for it. How much better would the world be if we all just learned to roll with the chalenges and moved forward. I am dyslexic but I won't let that stop me from posting a comment even if it takes me a long time to write it. Shame on the school board for failing to respond to this parents concern. That is not in thier elected positions job description. As elected officials you listen to and respond to the people you represent. Remember officials we don't work for you, you work for us.
