Subject: Three families to receive keys to new Habitat homes – and to new lives
Three families will officially leave sub-standard housing behind and receive keys to their new energy-efficient Chatham Habitat for Humanity homes at a dedication ceremony on Thursday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to share in the celebration. Uplifting music will be provided by Christ United Methodist Church. The Ibarra-Rivera family, the Cervantes-Zavaleta family, and the Margarito-Bernabe family each contributed more than 350 hours toward the construction of their homes and have completed courses designed to prepare them for successful homeownership. They will purchase their homes from Chatham Habitat with 0% interest mortgages. Their payments will in turn help fund homes for more families in need.
