Clean up the Haw this Saturday

I don’t know how many frequent Andy’s in Pittsboro. I went to pick up lunch and was shocked when I saw the sanitation grade that was posted – 82.50. The inspection date was March 11, 2010.

Gazillion little bee mounds

I asked Al Cooke about them, and he said:

“There are several species (in at least 3 families) that are generally  referred to a”solitary bees.”  In general they are pretty harmless and usually  serve somebeneficial purpose such as pollination and predation on less desirable  species.”
