Subject: house painter needed & critter remover needed
I am looking for recommendations for 2 different services. We need to have the exterior of our house repainted. Anyone have suggestions?
We also have mystery wildlife in the attic that we can’t find but hear occasionally romping around in the middle of the night. I’d like to find someone who can get these critters to leave on their own or trap them humanly for release far away. Recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Frances

Subject: Time For The Mushrooms Again….
It feels like the wheel is turning. Winter is creaking to an end, and Spring is starting to reveal itself. Our local wild mushroom club, Chatham Mushroom Friends, aka Chatmush, has grown to 44 members since it’s inception in October of 2009. Quite a bit of “Mycellium Running” in five short months.
The drums, cook pots,…….. hearts & minds are currently beating for this season’s upcoming main event……Morels !!…….no reported sightings yet, but…….. soon come. With this warmth & moisture, could be real soon come.

Subject: 2010-11 School budget
The budget situation has improved somewhat since last week. Instead of a $303.58 decrease per student, the state now says the decrease will be $206.53 per student. The district has also reallocated some local funds, with the result that only $1,570,533 will be necessary. The recommended cut is Scenario C.3 below. I left in the lines that were included in last week’s Scenario C.2. An alternative Scenario F this week would have included cutting 4.5 (all) middle school Spanish teachers instead of 7 assistants.

Subject: Clarification: Phone advice and computer diagnostics are FREE, not PAID.
Since these points have been misunderstood by some folks recently who found us on the Chatlist, some clarification is in order.
If you call Tritech to ask a couple of questions, that’s generally free. As long as the conversation does not drift into an obvious telephone support case, we never, ever charge to answer your questions or provide “guesstimates” over the phone.
