Did you look at the Chatham Tax records?  Or the GIS site?  Just curious.

But for what it’s worth, there’s nothing suspicious about two surveyors at work not answering any questions to “someone you know” about their employer or their employer’s plans for the land.  It’s not their place to talk about it, and if some stranger walked up to me asking questions about my business, outside of law enforcement, I’d have been even less forthcoming.

In any case…

Google knows nothing about “130 of Chatham LLC” on a quick search (don’t have time for internet detectiving while I’m at work) though it helps to know WHERE those parcels are out side of “just outside of Siler City”.  That would at least help as a starting point.
