We are fully legit in all areas including state, county and federal. We also have insurance and pay taxes on our business and products we sell just like anyone else that runs their business in a “permanent” building in this county.
We are NOT a temporary business.
We plan to stay! We are Chatham County residents and my husband is a native of Siler City.

Subject: regarding the vendors at the old Ford location
Two points on this topic:
1. The owners of the former Ford & Chevrolet dealership lots may rent to whosoever they wish, as long as state vending privileges are observed. Both of these lots represent fifty years of service to the community as Cooper Harris Ford and Justice Motors (Weiland & Webster.) Any income that they can garner should be OK with most of us. I expect that the small rental from such vendors will not pay taxes. Each of these businesses supported the community with products and services for decades. Do we offer the owners, once stalwarts of our community, anything during these hard times? Or do we just say “too bad,” and “that’s business.”

Subject: Jet Contrails
PBS aired a great program on jet contrails recently. Here are some links from the EPA and NOVA that explain the effects jet contrails are having on the earth. Given the town’s proximity to Charlotte, RDU, and various military installations a large number of jet contrails can be expected in the area and are likely creating increased cloud cover.
When it comes to the production of chem trails by corporate entities or the military I guess it all depends on who/what you want to believe as there are not many published scientific studies available.
