Subject: Local choices should be the same as when I moved to Chatham County in 1993
Chatham Chatlist #3631Reply to the Whiners and who do we really blame and has there really ever been bipartisanship in our government.
Yes Clinton did it but the Republicans controlled Congress. So who do you blame?
I also blame Clinton and the Democrats for being spineless as they are now.

Subject: asking for assistance
I am asking all fellow chatlisters for assistance. I am making simple blankets to send to Haiti. I am sending all the blankets that get made along with other handmade blankets from groups of sewers around the country in March. I am asking for any donations of 2 yard lengths of light weight fleece, flannel, or light weight cotton material, or thread. Plain cotton Tshirts can also be used to make cotton diapers. Any monetary donations would be helpful as well, I can use it to buy material or will place it with my churches offering that will be sent. Any donations can be dropped off at the Chatham Habitat for Humanity Home Store Too Store with my husband Damian Munn. Thank you all for your help and prayers for all of those in need. If you are unable to help in donation, your prayers are more powerful than you realize….

Subject: Beggers and Choosers closing
Since Beggars and Choosers closed, I have heard so many rumors as to what is going to happen to the store. I heard that the upstairs clothing has been sold to Bill Blatz Victorian Fashions in New York and will be packed up and shipped there. I heard that the main floor hardgoods has been sold to David Linquist of Whitehall Antiques at the Villa in Chapel Hill.
Then someone else said that Beggers and Choosers was being “woo-ed” by the film industry in Willmington. Is a move down there in the works?

Subject: Large property buy up
I know someone out here knows who this entity is,or if you are bored and more adept at searching public records than me, would you please find out what you can about them. So far they have bought up 26 parcels totaling nearly 1200 acres, almost all of them connected. All parcels are just outside the Siler City limits. 130 of Chatham LLC is who shows up as the parcel owner. Any help would be useful. Someone I know intercepted two surveyors who claimed that the owner is a conservationist but they suspiciously avoided any questions involving who they worked for or who the new owner is.
