Shame on you, Commissioner Lucier, for weaseling out of your commitment to meet with a group of people who don’t share your ideology. I won’t mention that ideology, since it is obvious.

The “reason” for your cowardly behavior is a silly, concocted one. ONE group (NCFIRE), which you put forth as “an example”, has sent flyers to several other groups promoting the Chatham Conservative Voice Forum. So you’re afraid that people from the Asheville Action Club are going to be driving down here to be un-civil to you?!?! And you pretend that
the circulation of these flyers by one group has “effectively undermined the efforts of CCV and local residents to have a civil discussion…” What utter nonsense!

It’s time for spring cleaning along the Haw River & Jordan Lake!

On Saturday, March 14, volunteers will gather at locations along, riverbanks, creeks, bridges, islands and along the shoreline of Jordan Lake prepared to remove trash that threatens wildlife and water quality. We are looking for more volunteers to help clean up at the Bynum sites and the 15-501 Natural Area.

George Lucier “backs out” of CITIZEN FORUM???? Backs out or is smart enough to see a set up coming?

Is that really a Citizen Forum?  Sounds like a clan meeting to me.  Some of the groups that were advertising this meeting and planning on attending are not full of citizens from Chatham County.
They are using  this forum and Chatham County to promote their paranoid racist agenda.

I think Mr. Lucier “figured that out” and decided to avoid giving any more credence to this “cause” by attending.  Good choice.

Exactly!  Yes, I should have made the sentence clearer but you are right in that DEVELOPMENT attracts deer and moves them into the surrounding areas. As does are able to have more nutritiously enriched diets, the better odd they will produce off-spring.  And yes, deer do roam or better stated they forage.
