Subject: Business Introduction – Selling Directly Real Estate
I created a flat fee, full service real estate company, Selling Directly, in Apex almost five years ago and have saved Triangle Families over $8 million dollars in commissions. My family and I have since moved to Moncure and I look forward to helping more Chatham County families save their home’s equity.

Hello Chathamites. My name is Adam Brinson. I own and operate Window Wizard, a small window washing and gutter cleaning operation serving Chatham county.
We have been in business for two years and have over 10 years experience in the window and gutter cleaning business. We drive a Volvo station wagon instead of a truck and use biodegrable soap. There’s just two guys on the crew. We love what we do and it shows. Its a small, simple, and effective operation. Let us take care of your window cleaning and gutter cleaning needs this year. Thanks for reading!

I am completely flabbergasket and dumbfunded that Gary Phillips agrees with me on something. (Gary, the Mohito sounds good – I’ve never tried it, but plan to, soon.) But Jonathan is still out there somewhere, driving along Old 87 and moaning about the big developments, big houses and golf courses, which are damaging our county. BTW, I apologized privately to Jonathan for including him among our collection of left wing kooks based only on his views on this subject.

DRT Press is Chatham County’s own micropress, specializing in books for children and families. Our first two books were picture books about adoption, but it’s our most recent book that should be of interest to anyone who hangs out with children in Chatham county: The Big Fun Guide to Tar Heel Country: 135+ Activities for Families in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Hillsborough, Pittsboro, and Points in Between! by Erin Donoghue Baldwin, a Carrboro mom and Chapel Hill native.

Hi all. Just a few words about the jewelry classes that I teach.
I teach metal jewelry making, not how to wire wrap a stone or how to string beads. I do, however, admire folks who can do those 2 well. I can’t and therefore don’t teach those things. In my classes, sawing, forging, texturing, drilling, forming, cold connections and soldering are taught. What that means is a piece of wire or sheet metal is taken, and by means of the above, turned into jewelry. Pretty standard techniques, some of which have probably been used for, say, a couple thousand years. Yea, yea, I hear you now, -”But that is wire wrapping or bead stringing.” Like I said above, I don’t teach those. But if you want to learn a new skill and have fun, check out my web site for more class info.

Hi All,
For a bunch of years I (Leela) was employed at one of our local “big-box” grocery stores. I echo Julia Kennedy’s experience when she states: “Food is often destroyed when it’s “freshness” time expires (we’re talking a couple of hours here, not days), not offered to local food shelters or even to their own employees.
