Subject: Andrews Salon
I’m highly recommending Andrews Salon located just behind Andy’s Cheesesteaks. Phone 542 0653.
The tanning beds are state of the art. Tara is the BEST stylist who took her time with me as she did a cut/blowdry/style and highlights and was very sensitive to my needs and wants. What more could you want out of a salon?? Please stop by and tell them Bridgette sent you.
You’ll absolutely LOVE it. Also, no waiting at this time!!!!!!? Major plus!!!
Thanks,
Bridgette

Subject: A complaint was filed with the State Board Of Elections about the chatlist and bulletin board

Concerning the big question about “conflict of interest” that has been brought up by a couple of folks recently.
About two and a half months ago a complaint was filed by someone living in Chatham County with the State Board of Elections about the Chatham Chatlist and the Chatham Online Bulletin Board.
The individual(s) felt that they are a “patent conflict of interest and unfair”

Subject: Soil and Water Conservation Election-candidate info?
I’m getting ready to go early vote and have not been able to find any info about either of the candidates, except for the fact that J Lynn Mann is listed as the current Chair of the District Board on the Chatham County website. Does anyone have more info on either candidate?
Thanks,
JoAnna Massoth

Subject: I saw a woman grab a McCain/Palin sign off the roadway
Yesterday I saw a woman grab a McCain/Palin sign off the roadway, fold and rip it. Although it happened in the next county, it goes on everywhere. Let’s agree that people on both sides of the fence have very bad manners.

Subject: Polling place “antics”
Dear Chathamites:
Although I exercised my rights as a citizen (to vote) yesterday I was somewhat dismayed to have a person outside the polling place hand me an exact copy of the ballot (albeit green in color) which was filled in (marked) with all the candidates of a particular party - obviously “showing me HOW TO VOTE! I kidded the person who gave this to me that maybe I wanted to vote the “opposite way” and then she asked me to return the green ”ballot” - I did not as I was interested in this strategy!

Subject: Galin’s the one in District 2!
Hi All,
I am supporting Gene Galin for the District 2 BOE seat for all the reason¢s many of you have mentioned already. He has been a very involved member of our community. Gene has provided a venue of open communication that has benefited everyone in the county. He will bring that same openness to our school system which will serve our teachers, staff and students well. It will also serve the public well since most taxpayers don¢t have kids in the system. If we are going to make it through these tough times the schools are going to need the help and support of everyone, not just parents. It takes a village to raise a child.
