First I would like to say that I find it REALLY hard to believe Dan Cahoon had any problem with Jim Cameron.  Jim is a wonderful builder that has his heart in the right place.  Dan on the other hand has no heart. To publicly humiliate someone about something that happened years ago is unbelievable to me.

I’m getting ready to go early vote and have not been able to find any info about either of the candidates, except for the fact that J Lynn Mann is listed as the current Chair of the District Board on the Chatham County website.

Does anyone have more info on either candidate?

Thanks,

JoAnna Massoth

Subject: Reflexology and Business Intro

Recently someone inquired about Reflexology practitioners in Pittsboro. While I have already responded directly to that individual, I thought I might take this opportunity to do a little advertising of my business,
www.cindramassage.com .

I am a massage therapist here is Pittsboro who practices reflexology, as well as Hot Stone Therapy, Aroma Therapy and Swedish & Deep Tissue Massage.  A graduate of the Body Therapy Institute in Silk Hope and one of the six members of the Holistic Body Alliance, I have an office in the old Nooe house, on the corner of East and Small Streets.

From: Elizabeth Essen
Subject: Looking for pumpkins

Regarding the post about pumpkins, there is a great family-run farm just across the Chatham County line in Lee County where they grow an interesting variety of pumpkins and gourds. They also offer pick-your-own greens (collards, mustard, and turnips), which are only $5 for a 5-gallon bucket full.

Northwest Chatham Fall Festival

From: Phyllis Thomas
Subject: Northwest Chatham Fall Festival

I had the pleasure of taking my grandchildren to the Northwest Chatham Park for the Fall Festival Saturday night.

The kids had a blast!  They were given a very nice T-Shirt and a goodie bag.  The goodie bag had a lot of stuff that kids like, but not too much candy.  It was perfect.

There were games where the kids could win prizes, and a hayride. They just keep talking about what fun they had.

From: Mia Munn
Subject: Why you should vote for Mia Munn for school board

My name is Mia Munn, and I ask for your vote for Chatham County School Board. During the 24 years I have lived in Chatham County, I have focused on my three sons’ activities and their schools, Pittsboro Elementary, Horton Middle, Northwood, and Woods Charter. Over the years I have taught Sunday School, volunteered in the schools, served as PTA president for two years, and founded an athletic booster club. I have also been a scout leader for the past 14 years. Now that my youngest son has graduated from high school, I want to devote my energy to making the Chatham County Schools successful for all our kids.
