About ten years or so ago, I had a tree struck and killed by lightning. It was not only twenty feet from the house but right next to it was a large cedar tree that I really liked. I called a tree man and he told me that the cedar had to come down before he could take the dead tree down or my house would be in jeopardy. I nixed that.

Janet, thank you for your kind words about the man who has been sent to prison for a crime he did not commit. I too have known this man and have trusted him to provide quality, honest service for the past several years. He truly is a good man, with a big heart. He did not commit this crime. In his naivety, he brought someone into his home and provided shelter for him. He was repaid with dishonest and illegal behavior in his home.

By now everyone has seen that wonderful photo Gene took at open house at Perry Harrison. I would like to make a public apology to my daughter. She was nervous about open house and I was trying to make it fun by having fun with her. This is her last year at Perry Harrison and I would like to thank the office staff and wonderful teachers all three of my girls had through the years.
