Subject: Tree removal service
Hey, Esta,
Three weeks ago I had Total Land Care come out and remove three dead trees from my property — well, two dead trees and one dying tree. The owner is a certified arborist.
They carefully topped the dying tree, which minimized the damage it did to surrounding trees when they felled it. They roped and guided the other two trees to fall where they wanted them, doing only slight damage to some sapplings in the process — which was unavoidable since these trees were in the woods and surrounded by lots of other vegetation. (They couldn’t top them, as the trees, being dead, could have been rotted out inside and too weak to support the weight of the climber, which would have been too dangerous for him.) They cut up two of the trees into firewood sized lengths, which I am in the process of splitting and turning into firewood. I said I’d clear my own brush and debris pile, because it saved money. But they were willing to do that for me, if I wanted.
I was very impressed with their service and with the owner’s knowledge of trees and how they grow, how they fall, etc.
