Cleaning & Coffee

Subject: Cleaning & Coffee

I’ve used Mandy Boone for cleaning services – 919 542-1976 or 636-0951

I have been to the new coffee shop! It’s inside Unity Books & Stuff & carries Mighty Tea, which is just plain awesome. I can’t drink coffee, but they have a very nice espresso machine. One thing I didn’t notice was if
they had WiFi – does anyone know if they do?

You will get suggestions about landscape businesses to do a lawn and/or landscape installation.  Let me suggest you also have a look at my pages of listings and guidelines on How to Hire a Landscape Service at

(Incidentally, this list is always a moving target; so I welcome additions from the Chatlist readership.)

From: Angel Dennison
Subject: Jordan’s wine

Jordan’s “Four Brothers Mead” was available for tasting at A Taste of Chatham earlier this month. I think it is SO COOL that Jordan, a Northwood graduate, is developing this wine, here, in Chatham County. Please support Jordan in this venture and thanks to Horizon Cellars for making it possible and for their support of Chatham.

Town & Country Cleaning

From: Robin Hill
Subject: Town & Country Cleaning

I am responding to someone’s request about Town & Country Cleaning.
We have used them for at least 18 years now.  Sarah Vance is very responsive to concerns and tries her best to accommodate her clients’ schedules.  I never worry about stealing – ever.  Yes, there have been a few breakages over the years, but that is to be expected.  The crew comes when expected and are pretty thorough.  I have used them also to sporadically clean another house.  They even do a good job on windows.  I recommend them heartily.

Hey, Esta,

Three weeks ago I had Total Land Care come out and remove three dead trees from my property — well, two dead trees and one dying tree.  The owner is a certified arborist.

I know what kind of person you are. It can only take one kind to see anew school as an eyesore. Shame on you. If you can’t see the positive things that the new Woods Charter School will bring to our community, then I hope it burns your eyes every time you look at it. Get a life and go live it in Burlington.                                            Steve Candelori

From: Horizon Cellars
Subject: Horizon Cellars – New Wines

“Ambrosia Mead”, is Horizon’s first  production in the Premium Mead (honey wine) series. Jordan has crafted a very nice, lighter style, premium Mead that is very much like a delicate white wine.  It’s labeled under “Four Brothers Mead” and Jordan would be glad to have a conversation with you about that.story.

Our “Carolina Comfort” is back in both Blanc (white) and Rouge (red) versions. These sweet styled wines are “finally” ready and available for tasting and sale!!  We’re planning on a Rose, or blush version in the near future too…

Putting in my yard

From: Linda
Subject: putting in my yard…

Well, we have sprayed our yard 4 times with round – up trying to  kill all the Bermuda  grass..and clover and weeds.

I would like to  have some recommendations of businesses or landscapers that would have a bob cat  to rota till and put soil and power seed…if any of you have any  recommendations of what or how I should tackle this it would be greatly  appreciated…what would be the most economical and best for success to  plant…other than sod.
