Re-route your trip around the ugly school

From: Steve Candelori
Subject: RE:   Alice Jones

Yo Alice,

Just curious, what kind of replies did you expect to get to your negative comment? Are you hoping that enough angry people like you will complain so that something can be done so people like you can drive past and not be offended by the sight of a new school? Here’s an idea, don’t drive by it. Re-route your trip, even if you live next to it, if it bothers you that much.

From: Amy Trayes
Subject: Break-ins/attempts

Hi neighbors:

Does anyone have any more info on the break ins or attempted break ins up here on Poplar (near Polk’s Landing)?  My one neighbor mentioned something in passing to my husband, and our direct neighbor said there had been THREE in the last few weeks.

This is getting concerning.  I have dogs, but we also have a LOT of windows.

Thanks
Amy

From: Henry Blair Jr.
Subject: Chatham County has an exceptional citizen in Mark Stinson!

I have never met Mark Stinson.

First, let me introduce myself.  Though I no longer reside in Chatham County, I was raised in Pittsboro and educated in the schools of Chatham County.  The statistical methods used in the analysis of Mark’s 4 (per his mother in a Chatlist post) lightening strikes were learned from Mrs Ethyl Johnston, the best algebra teacher ever to teach in the classrooms of Chatham County, or anywhere else.  The data used came from a government source (http://www.lightningsafety.noaa.gov/medical.htm).
