Subject: Portal of entry for services for older adults in Chatham County -
You may not need this information today, but one day, you will. The only thing that we ALL have in common is that we get a day older every day.
Everyone has stories about older adults who cannot afford their medication, older neighbors with no one to care for them, adults with disabilities who have difficulty moving around in their homes or who have no access to appropriate transportation. Or, the stories of people who were sold a great-sounding “no fee” insurance product that will not pay for the care they need. Sound like someone you know?

hey gene…as always, thanks so much for this service to the community.
Welcome to chatham co. Morrie. Glad you enjoyed the show Friday night at the store.
I also attended, far as I remember, nobody asked to see my liberal card or political party affiliation tattoo. You have my sympathy far as the feeling of being a minority goes, it can be lonely taking an unpopular stance.

Subject: Is Bynum a place for conservatives?
A recent post to the Chatlist asks if Bynum is a place for conservatives. Yes, and everyone else.
Much has been in the press lately about how polarized our nation has become and how detrimental it is becoming to us culturally and politically-and practically as it is responsible for much of the gridlock in congress. Intolerance of others’ viewpoints and personal expressions is frankly, dangerously un-American.
