Subject: A word of thanks to all participants

Thanks to all participants and contributors to July 22nd’s Queen of Chatham Caregivers Day, especially to Prime Time Limousines of Sanford, Salon Blue, Annette Johnson, Fusions Fine Gifts and Art Gallery, Virlie’s Grill, Comforcare Senior Services, Chatham Co. Council on Aging, The Alzheimer Association, The Chatham Co. Sheriff’s Department, and The Pittboro Police Deptartment. Caregiver Awareness Month was a success due to their generosity and community spirit.

Their generous contributions allowed Betty Lane to be pampered like a “Queen for a Day” while her husband, Jake, was cared for at home.  It also allowed many people to become aware of the emotional and financial burden hundreds of families in Chatham Co. experience daily while caring for a loved one at home and the options available to avoid this potentially catastrophic risk.
