For those interested in performing or learning more about theatre…
This fall semester at Central Carolina Community College in Pittsboro:
Acting I:
Learn the fundamentals of acting for the stage, including physicalization, vocalization, characterization, and some performance for an audience. No experience necessary. Last fall’s class consisted of a nice range of experience/ability and ages (high school senior along with folks in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s).
Mon & Wed Evenings 6:00-8:40
Merry Oaks Baptist Church Food Pantry is having their Fund & Food Raiser at the Moncure Fire Station on Old Hwy 1 & Pea Ridge Road. August 9Th at 4pm to 7pm. Bands, Puppet Show, Singers and lots more. A donation of canned & boxed goods needed for the Food Pantry. Money donations welcome. Refreshments will be sold also. Come and have some fun and support the Food Pantry.
