Subject: Veterinary Acupuncture patients needed

I am in the process of my veterinary acupuncture certification course.  I am now seeking patients (cats, dogs, or horses) that may benefit from acupuncture treatment.  I need to get hopefully five of the following cases:

Geriatric dogs wtih weak hips/ hindlimbs

Atopic (itchy) dogs

Horses with lower back pain or stifle pain

The cost for these treatments will be greatly reduced as I need them to complete my training.  Owners need to be able to commit to 4 weekly treatments.

Subject: Recommendations for someone to replace dryer vent through basement?

We own a half duplex near Cole Park. The W/D hookup is in a large closet in the kitchen with interior walls. The original dryer vent simply dumped into the crawl space–which is a recipe for mold. The first repair person we hired installed floppy metal ducting through the crawl space to the back wall–it sagged and clogged and did not work. The second attempt used rigid heavy PVC pipe. It also clogs.

Shakori Hills announces the 2nd Annual Hoppin’ John Old-Time and Bluegrass Fiddler’s Convention happening in Silk Hope September 19-20. Everyone is invited to this all-ages event. Rocky Coyle, former professional baseball player and founder of 4 Life, Inc. will hold a baseball camp for 6- to 13-year-olds at the East Chatham baseball field in Pittsboro from Monday, August 11 through Thursday, August 14. The camp will run from 9:00 until 12:00. Cost is $130.
