On July 25th, Side Street Gallery in Pittsboro will hold Side Street Buds:
an exhibition of painting, drawing and sculpture by some of the area’s finest budding artists. The event, which will be held at the gallery from 6-8pm, will feature works created during a series of summer camps that were held at the gallery earlier this summer. Three classes were taught by Michael Mosca who co-owns the gallery along with his sister Michele. The show will feature several projects, including one in which the campers reinterpreted the Mona Lisa. It will be a rare opportunity for all ages to enter into a world that typically dons a sign that reads “no grown-ups” behind a shut door, and to support the arts and art education. Join us for the show and a cookie and juice reception.
