Don’t Miss Former Squirrel Nut Zipper, Tom Maxwell at the Bynum General Store Friday Night

Join us at the Bynum General Store on Friday, July 18th for an evening with Pittsboro’s own Tom Maxwell.  Tom is a composer best known for penning the hit “Hell” as one of the Squirrel Nut Zippers.  Music begins at 7 pm and continues until 9 pm. Bring a chair, sit under an open sky and enjoy the music, each other’s company and tasty treats from Barney’s Hot Dogs and the Bynum UMC Women.

Local artists Rich Beaudry and Aline Kala will also be displaying their paintings and wood art in the General Store.  Children will enjoy storytelling with Suzanne Robinson.  The store is located at 950 Bynum Road in beautiful downtown Bynum.  For more information, visit www.bynumfrontporch.org.  We are in the process of designing a new web site so check back often!

As is our tradition, tickets are not necessary but we pass the hat to compensate the musicians.  There’s a $3 – $8 suggested donation per adult.

A few things we’d like you to know about the Front Porch Music Series:
1.  The Bynum General Store is an alcohol-free venue.
2.  For safety, please make sure that children are supervised by an adult at all times.
3.  We respectfully ask that all pets be left at home.
4.  The show goes on, rain or shine.  If it rains, we’ll move indoors.
