Subject: Senior Centers food pantries

Food PantryBoth Chatham County senior centers, in Pittsboro and Siler City, have food pantries, too. We make referrals to CORA and to the Western Chatham Food Pantry when appropriate, but we distribute canned and shelf stable food, frozen meals (cooked in our kitchen), fresh bread and produce donated by local grocery stores on a daily basis.

We also distribute products such as bath soap, toilet paper, adult diapers, and nutritional supplements. Donations are very much needed and are always appreciated.

The Council on Aging is a non-profit organization that has been serving older adults for 34 years.

We can arrange deliveries, too, for folks who are unable to drive to the centers.

Thanks for your support,
