Hi neighbors,

This post is in reply to Diane Swann’s regarding the Pittsboro Mural Project.  For my two cents I’d like to offer my thanks to all artists, volunteers and generous patrons who have put in the time, talent and funding to bring this funky fresh dimension to our little downtown.

I enjoyed seeing artists and youth working together as I drove past the circle.  I’d like to see outreach to some of our local seniors as well.  Their knowledge and experience of our town’s history are invaluable!   I think it would be really cool to see depictions of downtown the way it looked mid-20th century. The great photographs displayed at Chatham Mills by the Northwood Alumni evoked lots of smiles and nostalgia!

It might be fun to see some play off of our quirky Chatham rabbits history, too.  Maybe even in concert with the Great Mystery of Big Hole Road?  Hee hee!

Have a Chathamighty fine day,

Camille
