Adult One Stroke Art Class :
July 12th Christmas in July Workshop ~ snowman face, winter scene, & Christmas wreath~ on multiple surfaces
August 9th Sunflowers (surface TBA)
September 13th TBA
October 11th. Holiday Topiary (surface TBA)
Class time is 10:30-12:30 except for the July class 10:00-1:00
Cost is $25 per class and includes materials. July class is $30.
Location is the The Ag Auditorium in Pittsboro. The September class will take place in the Parks and Recreation office Located next to Hardees in Pittsboro.

Child One Stroke Art Class:
June 14th 1:30- 3:00 Palm Trees
July 12th 2:00-3:30 Frog Face on Canvas
August 9th 1:30-3:00 Fun Flowers on Clip Board
September 13th 1:30-3:00 Daises
October 11th 2:00-3:30 Bear Face on Canvas or Wood Plaque.

Swim Lessons: The next registration date is July 12th from 10-1 at the parks and rec. office.
Quick Start Kayak Class:
Chatham County Parks and Recreation is offering a kayak quick start class for parent, child or family It is a 3 hour introductory course.
The class will be offered at the county’s new Northwest Park (formerly Camp Maranatha Springs on Woody Store Road in Silk Hope).
The fee will be $35.00 per person. All equipment will be provided.
The class will take place on July 29th, from 5:30-8:30 at the Northwest Park.
A minimum number of participants will be needed.
We only have 8 single kayaks and 4 tandem kayaks. If they fill up, one may still register providing they have their own boat.
