Another approach is to just use standard 4’high fencing and run a double ring with rings about 4′-5′ apart. Leave an opening in outer fence.
Deer jump first but cannot get over second. Lee Calhoun has used this method for years to protect his nursery.
Easier to install than tall poles and beats the absurd look of super high fencing.
