Subject: Great new hair salon
I just had an excellent hair cut at “April’s Hair Creations” (formerly Edie’s). April’s is located on 15/501 (Sanford Rd) just south of the Pittsboro circle and right across from Horton Middle School. It is also adjacent to Acacia Nails.
I found April to be a joy to talk with while she cut my hair. She accepts walk-ins and also sells beautiful jewelry made by a local artist. Support your local new business owner (and jewelry artist) and consider giving April’s Hair Creations a call the next time you are ready for a hair cut, dye, perm, or what ever else we women might do to our hair. 919-542-1384.

Subject: Hot Pepper Bird Seed & Suet
I provide suet year-round and it is heavily used this time of year, by parents and the young. There are no-melt varieties which can be used.
The hot pepper in seed has always been controversial. I felt relieved when a customer came in and said that a mockingbird kept getting into her garden and eating all her hot peppers! I stopped worrying. If research says otherwise, I will reconsider but I haven’t heard anything which changes my mind.
