It’s called Anthropomorphism n. Attribution of human motivation, characteristics, or behavior to inanimate objects, animals, or natural phenomena.
The animals being sent for slaughter have NO IDEA what is going on. You know what is going on, so you assume they do. They do not, I promise. They would act just as scared if they were simply being shipped to another farm. I know this…I grew up on a small farm where we took our animals to the slaughter house. They became scared the minute we took them out of their pen (or at least we think they were scared…maybe just alarmed?). They have no idea what is going on. How could they? They are ANIMALS.
