Has anyone ever had a problem with a bus driver here in Chatham?  My kids are having trouble with their bus driver and it seems like she has chosen them to be the scapegoat for everything that goes wrong on the bus.

UGH! Campaign signs again

I do not typically agree with Steve Candelori, but with regard to campaign signs, I am on the same sheet of music.  Yes, it is illegal to remove them, unless of course, grass roots lobbying facilitates changes in the law.

In an age of mass communication and technological access to political messages and campaign activity, campaign signs seem a primitive vestige of the past and at best a seasonal ritual that has outlived its purpose.  I liken them to legal roadside litter.

Vote Dear Neighbors,

I plan to vote for Mike Cross and Patrick Barnes because I trust them and I think they have done excellent work.  It’s a tough job we ask our County Commissioners to do, and both have done it admirably well.

While I haven’t agreed with every vote they’ve cast, in the end – as more facts emerged – I decided they were right to vote the way they did.  Some folks disagree.  And a small number of them are spreading distortions and deceptions.  If you are still undecided about our County Commissioner’s race, then I would urge you to consider the following:
