Hi Oprah Bookclub Readers!

Our reading group called Continuum Group will be meeting this Tuesday night
at 7pm at my house to discuss the continued reading of *A New
Earth*(chapters 3-6)
* *by Eckard Tolle. It's an exciting book about personal awakening. This is
a light hearted, fun group meant to stimulate discussion and create
scintillating discourse. Some members of the group are reading the book in
preparation for an international online course on the book lead by the
Author and Oprah. This course will be taking place at 9pm March 3rd. If you
are interested in participating in the reading group, please contact me and
I will provide further details.

Thanks and Happy Reading!

I could use some help and offer an opportunity

I am a country music writer/singer/player.? I have one self penned album (Tales of the Caterpillar Cowboy, c.1999)? and one self produced CD of cover music (The Older I Get, The Better I was).
I was a regular guest of J.D.'s Country Express from 1995 until the present, appeared with Grand Ole Opry personalities like George Hamilton IV, Del Reeves, Mel McDaniel, etc...
I have an itch to play and get back into the studio with some new music, but I need some folks to play with.? Now, please don't tell me that you aren't good enough or any other self depreciating nonsense as I have known plenty of no talents who make BIG money in the business, and if you are playing from the heart and please yourself, then? thats all that matters.? I have practice space and time.? I even have a couple of extra instruments if you don't have your own.? If nothing else, would just love having some friends to play music with.?
Do you write and don't know where to take the next step or need help or encouragement to finish a project?? I can help with that.
I don't just do country, but love bluegrass, oldies, gospel, and even some rock-n-roll.....
If at all interested, please contact me at:

I can supply you with my music website or any other bonafides you need to see that I am for real.

Thank you kindly.

Subject: March 4th Library book club

The Library Book Club meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:45 at the
library.  Everyone is welcome.

The book selection for March 4th is:  Queen of Fashion: What Marie
Antoinette Wore to the Revolution by Caroline Weber.  One review wrote: "In
this elegantly written, fast paced book, Caroline Weber shows that Marie
Antoinette was not an empty-headed and materialistic teenager, but rather a
conscious political actor in the turbulent times of the French Revolution.
Boxed and ribboned in the confining world of court fashion and etiquette,
Weber entertainingly and authoritatively illustrates how the doomed French
queen used the fashion packaging which Louis XIV had created to stifle the
aristocrats of his court, turning them from warriors into powdered
courtiers, and used it as both an individualistic and politically expressive
force. This book not only gives an accurate and nuanced historical account
of Marie-Antoinette's relationship with fashion missing from Sofia Coppola's
movie, it's also a great read!"

Subject: Costa Rica rental/info

To the person asking about Costa Rica info (sorry, already deleted
that chatlist), I have a friend in Chapel Hill who recently finished
building a vacation/rental home there... contacted them, and they
have a website... They've spent quite a bit
of time there over the past couple of years and would likely be happy
to share what they've learned. Best wishes and safe travels.
