Hello to all my friends on the Chatham Chatlist,
I advertise through this venue from time to time reminding you of the importance of removing the impurities from your body through a nutritional body cleanse (with a side effect of weightloss :>), and your response has been pretty incredible.
Here is my conclusion: not only is Chatham County populated with politically, socially, and environmentally astute folks, but they really also take their health very seriously!! I want to thank everyone who has stepped up to the plate, has said "enough is ENOUGH!" and taken a proactive approach to their health through my nutritional body cleanse. I appreciate the business, but furthermore, I am happy to live among folks who strive to make a difference and will now be around a lot longer to do so!!
For any of you left wondering what I'm talking about, imagine driving your car and never changing the oil...never cleaning out your dryer's lint filter...using the same vacuum cleaner bag for years...not doing the annual furnace check including changing its filter...
All "machinery" needs maintenance, especially our bodies; don't let yours leave you on the side of the road!!
Cheers~ Susan Henson National Cleansing Coach

-------------------- 3 -------------------- Date: Fri, 20 Jul 2007 18:48:08 -0400 From: "Monica Howell" <thebeadhive...gmail.com> Subject: ** trunk show the bead hive
Greetings from the bead hive!!!
I hope everyone is having a fun filled summer.
Just wanted to update you on a few things...
First off, I want to let everyone know that there has been a change in dates for Girls night out at the bead hive for July. Normally we do Girls night out on Fourth Friday, but I need to postpone it for the first Friday of the month in August, which is Friday the 3rd. I do apologize to those of you who have expressed an interest in coming to this particular event. I do have an excellent reason!!!
Definitely mark your calendar for the 3rd of August because I will also be having a Trunk Show! I will send out another email within the next week to let you know what types of goodies to expect at the show.
the bead hive will be closed on Friday and Saturday July 27th and 28th. I will be traveling to a bead show to work for the weekend. We will reopen on Thursday August 2nd at 11 am with some very spectacular goodies. So make sure if you need something before then to call me, I will meet you down here if you can't make it during normal store hours.
Is there something that you have been looking for? Something that you would like me to keep my eyes open for while I am at the show...give me a call I will be happy to look for you.
Come and check out the funky Vintage German and Vintage Japanese Glass I just got. This glass definitely tells a story, all glass is pre-1920's and I got some really killer deals on it that I am passing along to you. All of this glass was made with molds by hand and not machine pressed. I also have some really cool hand faceted jet black German glass. If you look at the beads closely you can see that each facet is unique, this made me smile! If you love beads and you love vintage beads, you gotta see these!!! Great prices too!!!
I also wanted to remind everyone that our hours have changed, Monday - Wednesday we are open by appointment only. Thursday and Friday from 11 am til 6 pm. Saturday from 10 am til 4 pm. And First Sunday of the month from 12-4. If these hours do not work with your schedule please call me and I will do my very best to come and meet you. 919-444-1497 or 919-545-9966.
Thanks and Happy Beading,
Monica Howell the bead hive 45 West Street PBO, NC 27312 thebeadhive...gmail.com

-------------------- 7 -------------------- Date: Mon, 23 Jul 2007 12:41:14 -0400 From: Duncan Murrell <duncan...rattlejar.com> Subject: Pristine Old Town Canoe For Sale
I am selling my father's Old Town "Pack" Canoe, almost never used. (Maybe five times. Maybe.)
It's a 12-foot, light, one-person canoe that easily mounts on top of a car, rack, or in the back of a pickup. Solid as a rock, barely a scratch. I'll be selling it with some extras: two proper lightweight canoe paddles, a kayak-type paddle, pontoon attachments for stability while fishing, a boat brake (bag that drags in the water with two holes, helps while fishing), an anchor with rope, seat pads/floaters, some travel foam, other things.
I'm asking $650 obo. The boat lists for $769 ( http:// www.oldtowncanoe.com/canoes/huntingFishing/ ) without the extras, which are worth at least another $100. The only reason I'm selling this great boat is because I've got an Old Town kayak ( they make solid, great boats) that fits my needs better, and the canoe isn't right for the kids right now. The boat has a shallow draft so it's great for some of the lesser-known parts of Jordan and Harris Lakes, and it can hold it's own on some of the "A" river stretches we have around here, especially on the Big River. It's great for a day of paddling. Very maneuverable, solid.
E-mail me at duncan...rattlejar.com .

Our 2 dogs, Jed and Bubba, have been missing since 7/11. There have been 3 separate sightings of them, the last of which was Monday evening, 7/23, near St. Matthews Church on 902 (near the Pittsboro-Goldston Road). I understand they are thin and scared and hanging out in the woods there. We have been to the area, walked around and called them, but we haven't seen them. If you go through this area, please be on the lookout for 2 dogs. Jed is a light brown chocolate lab mix. Bubba is a black mix with longer hair and sores on his ears from fly bites. They are both medium-sized dogs, around 40-45 lbs. If you see them, please call us immediately at 362-1260 or 795-5724. Thank you.

July 27 Brenda Linton with special guest, Shawn Aldridge
Every Friday night from May 4th until September 28th, there will be a crowd gathered in front of the Grove Stage to hear a variety of local and regional bands. The evenings are family friendly, and dinner and snack foods and drinks will be available although picnics and coolers are allowed. The music starts at 7 and usually lasts until 10pm. There is also a Community Market where local farmers and artisans are welcome to set up at no cost to sell their goods. The Moonlight, Music and Dance series collects donations for the band with the "pass the hat" method. Performers receive 100% of the proceeds. The suggested amount is $5 - $8 per adult. Shakori Hills strives to be a place abundant with community arts, cultural, educational, and wellness programming. It is quickly becoming one of the best places in the area to meet up with neighbors and strangers alike and share ideas about art, music, the environment, and other common interests. The Moonlight, Music and Dance series is graciously sponsored by Lynn Hayes Properties, Chatham Arts and Family Violence & Rape Crisis. Attendance to the music series helps Shakori Hills to preserve its 75 acres of gorgeous farmland so that such festivals, gatherings, and other events can happen well into the future.
Speaking of other events, though summer is what is on everyone's minds right now, it is never too late to put fall events on the calendar. The Fall Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance will be held October 11th through the 14th, 2007. Stay tuned for more information soon. Hope the parking lot can handle it!

Please email me at lesleym...nc.rr.com <mailto:lesleym...nc.rr.com> or call me at 542-2557 if you have any questions about what I am selling. All items would consider a reasonable offer!
-New in Box 19” color computer monitor, it has never been used, the reason I am selling it is because it did not fit on the desk where I wanted it to go. I am asking $55 or best offer.
-Glider Rocker with matching Ottoman, it is solid wood with matching blue cushions on both the glider and ottoman. I used this in my first daughter’s nursery and decided not to use it in my second daughter’s room. I am asking $60 for it or best offer.
-Blue Leather antique rocker, it is a great rocker with one small spot on it that you can’t really tell, I am asking $40 for it or best offer.
-DVD player that works great for only $25.
Again let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to answer them.
