Subject: Public Hearing Tuesday April 17th - Cary/Chatham Joint Land Use
The Chatham Board of Commissioners at their February joint meeting with the
Cary Council indicated that before they proceeded with the joint planning
with Cary, the Chatham Commissioners wanted to hear from the citizens.
They have scheduled a public hearing for Tuesday, April 17th beginning at
7:00 pm in the Superior Courtroom, Pittsboro.
There are currently three different land use plans under consideration. The
maps for these three options can be viewed at:

Bag your own lunch & something to drink. Grill available for your own use, so bring what you need. Chatham Socials is having a day of sunshine & exercise. Meet your neighbor. Shelter has been held and can hold 35 people. It has a fireplaces, picnic tables & grill.
At 2:00pm we will walk the Long trail of 1.5 miles and see the lake front or for those that like to take on the 3/4 mile Talking Tree trail is available. Every one needs to be ready to go by 7:30. Need volunteers to help Daniel clean up by no later than 7:50 as the gates close by 8:00.
