And the new Thales Academy sounds like a wonderful year around school and love their way to grow, assuming adding a 5th grade for their 4th graders to stay at the same school and each year (or more) thereafter. Must admit it’s the “year around” that grabs me. We should all be doing this and able to take a quarter off if you want a “family vacation”. Teachers employed year around will be paid accordingly and receive the respect of having a “full time” job, a reality not always appreciated under summer vacation schedule. COVID modifies everything; it will be fascinating to see which trends it accelerates and which habits will persist.
